1 Real Sweets Rolled up All Butter Pie Pastry
4-5 large apples peeled and sliced
3 spoons of sugar (organic perfered) or apple cider for no sugar added
1 spoon of starch (non gmo perfered) or flour
1 tea spoon of cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 360F. Thaw pastry at room temperature. Unroll both rolls and place one on the bottom of 9″ pie plate ( dough can be rolled thiner or reshaped to any form).
Filling Bake from Frozen: Combine apple slices with sugar, cinnamon and starch.
Filled this way your pie can be finished off with the top pastry, egg wash and freeze, then bake from frozen at 365F about 60 min or light brown.
Filling from Fresh;
In a large pot combine your apples, cinnamon, sugar, starch and add water as needed. Stir it at low temperature until apples soften to be more manageable. Cool the mixture slightly before filling. Cover the pie with top pastry and egg wash. Bake the pie at 360F until light brown. Enjoy!
